The categories of information we collect can include:
- Information you provide to us directly: We may collect personal information such as your first and last name, phone number, location, and e-mail address when you sign up for our mailing list, enter a contest or sweepstakes, or otherwise communicate with us. We may combine this information with information we receive from our sister companies, affiliates and brands in the Carnival Corporation and Carnival plc family.
- Information we collect from social networks: We may receive information about you when you interact with our Sites or company through various social media, for example, by liking us on Facebook or following us on Twitter. The data we receive is dependent upon your privacy settings with the social network. You should always review, and if necessary, adjust your privacy settings on third-party websites and services before linking or connecting to us on those services.
We use this information to operate, maintain, and enhance our organization and our services. We may use this information to communicate with you, such as to send you email messages, newsletters, promotional messages and to follow up with you to offer information about Carnival or any of our Carnival cruise lines. We may also send you service-related emails or messages (e.g., contest entry confirmations or technical, and security notices). We automatically collect certain types of usage information when you visit our Sites. When you visit the Site, we may send one or more cookies — a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and lets us help you log in faster and enhance your navigation through the site. A cookie may also convey information to us about how you use the Site (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click, how frequently you access the Site, and other actions you take on the Site), and allow us to track your usage of the Site over time. We may collect log file information from your browser or mobile device each time you access the Site. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. The information allows for more accurate reporting and improvement of the Site and our communications. We may also collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Site and to understand more about the demographics of our users. When you access our Site by or through a mobile device, we may receive or collect and store a unique identification numbers associated with your device or our mobile application (including, for example, a UDID, Unique ID for Advertisers (“IDFA”), Google Ad ID, or Windows Advertising ID), mobile carrier, device type, model and manufacturer, mobile device operating system brand and model, phone number, and, depending on your mobile device settings, your geographical location data, including GPS coordinates (e.g. latitude and/or longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device.

- Other companies and brands owned or controlled by Carnival Corporation and Carnival plc, including but not limited to Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Costa, P&O Australia, P&O Cruises, Holland America Line, AIDA, Cunard, Seabourn, Fathom and others, and other companies owned by or under common ownership as Carnival, which also includes our subsidiaries (i.e., any organization we own or control) or our ultimate holding company (i.e., any organization that owns or controls us) and any subsidiaries it owns. These companies will use your personal information in the same way as we can under this Policy;
- Third parties with whom we partner to provide contests and sweepstakes, which will usually be identified by name in the Official Rules of the contest or sweepstakes;
- With third parties who may have products or services we think you may enjoy;
- Third-party vendors and other service providers that perform services on our behalf, as needed to carry out their work for us, which may include identifying and serving targeted advertisements, providing mailing services, providing tax and accounting services, contest fulfilment, web hosting, or providing analytic services;

Modifying or deleting your information: If you have any questions about reviewing, modifying, or deleting your information, or if you want to remove your name or comments from our website or publicly displayed content, you can contact us directly at email@example.com. We may not be able to modify or delete your information in all circumstances.
Keeping your information safe: We care about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through our website. However, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%. Carnival does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 on this Site. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
